A business incubator focused on supporting early-stage startups through mentorship, resources, and engineering development. Worked with 20+ hardware startups in Consumer Tech, AgriTech, and MedTech industries to develop and launch their products from concept to prototype, prototype to pilot, and pilot to manufacture stages.
Developed a collaborative design platform where humans & robots co-create layouts. Built a gesture recognition system with OpenCV and MediaPipe to detect & interpret hand-drawn shapes. Integrated with ROS to enable a Kinova gen3 arm to execute precise pick-and-place tasks.
Developed a novel fluid pump using an undulating plate mechanism to collect microplastics in marine environments. Scaled the design from a lab prototype to a full-scale system, optimizing for durability and performance in real-world ocean conditions.
Contributed to the development of an open-source haptic dataset for robotics research. Maintained and enhanced data-collection devices equipped with active/passive thermal sensors and force sensors to improve reliability and performance.
